Brandy, a three-sport athlete as a child, has been active her whole life. Basketball was her
passion, and she achieved her dream of playing college basketball at Franklin & Marshall
College in PA. A life-long student, Brandy also has a passion for learning, and she earned her
doctorate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Brandy fell in
love with martial arts and has been training in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Karatedo since
2010. 2023, Brandy achieved the rank of Nidan in Karatedo from Dai Nippon Butoku Kai, Kyoto Japan and was promoted to Black Belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in 2024.
In addition to training and teaching Karate and Jiu-Jitsu, Brandy is a 500-hour Certified Yoga
Instructor as well as an American Council on Exercise Certified Group Fitness Instructor.
Brandy is a compassionate instructor fusing her backgrounds in Psychology, Yoga, and Martial
Arts to help empower others to reach their highest potential.
