Questions before your first class?
Here are a few things families and first-time students often want to know.
Will my child become a bully?+
Bushin teaches children to avoid conflict when possible, use their words first, and involve an adult. Physical skills focus on control and safety, not teaching children to become aggressive.
Do I need experience or to be in shape?+
No. Beginner classes are structured for people who are completely new to martial arts and for students at different fitness levels.
What should I wear for my first class?+
Wear comfortable gym clothes, such as a T-shirt and leggings or shorts. Bushin can provide a gi for a first visit.
Can parents watch kids’ class?+
Yes. Families are welcome to observe and see how the class feels before making a decision.
How does a free week work?+
Choose your program, pick a class time, and use the Gymdesk booking page to reserve your visit. There is no pressure to join.
